Take part in the eseia Professional Training on Green Mobility and System Integration and receive cutting-edge trainings from science and business form various disciplines. This training is organised in Brussels back to back with EU Mobility Week.
This two-day training provides an overview of state-of-the art technologies and future trends supporting Green Mobility. Participants get insights into vehicle and infrastructure related technologies and have the possibility to discuss and evaluate the concepts under consideration of different viewpoints.
Day 1: All-day lectures give an overview of the state of the art and future trends in alternative propulsion and energy storage technologies. This includes alternative fuels, battery systems, electric and hybrid drive concepts, as well as different challenges of system integration.
Day 2: Approaches for future mobility initiated by key-lectures, participants are involved into workshops to discuss and evaluate approaches for Green Mobility and System Integration. In this context, different conventional and innovative vehicle and infrastructure-related technologies are evaluated and compared under consideration of varying criteria. This includes economical, ecological and society-related impacts, as well as the complete life-cycle behavior, considering production, in-use and end-of-life phase.

Pilot Plant Research Lab on Organic-waste Exploitation26 - 29 October in Lindlar-Remshagen, Germany
Take this opportunity to work at pilot plant installations and gain valuable hands-on experiences with key technologies.
Within the BioEnergyTrain project :metabolon now offers the first Pilot Plant Course – Research Lab on Organic-waste exploitation in October 2016. The course is directed at students with an engineering background from all over Europe. The Pilot Plant Course gives the participants the opportunity to operate real-world installations, such as the biogas pilot plant, the leachate water treatment and the combustion plant. The course will be held at the :metabolon site, which is a modern waste disposal site in Leppe with research facilities for material conversion and location-related environmental technology and techniques.
