The eseia ISS 2017 program aims to cover fundamental aspects and to reveal solutions in the quest for innovations in the biorefinery framework converting underexplored biomass into biofuels and bio-chemicals. The eseia ISS 2017 will be hosted by the University of Zagreb and will take place in Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia.

eseia Professional Training on Green Mobility and System Integration

20 -22 September 2017, Brussels, Belgium

Take part in the eseia Professional Training on Green Mobility and System Integration and receive cutting-edge trainings from science and business form various disciplines. This training is organised from 20 -22 September in Brussels back to back with EU Mobility Week.

This two-day training provides an overview of state-of-the art technologies and future trends supporting Green Mobility. Participants get insights into alternative propulsion and energy storage technologies, including alternative fuels, battery systems, electic and hybrid drive concepts, as well as different challenges of sytem integration.

Pilot Plant Research Lab on Organic-waste Exploitation

18-20 October 2017 in Lindlar-Remshagen, Germany

Take this unique opportunity to work at pilot plant installations and gain valuable hands-on experiences with key technologies.

The course is directed at students with an engineering background from all over Europe who are interested in operating real-world installations, such as the biogas pilot plant, the leachate water treatment and the combustion plant. The course is organized by the Bergischer Abfallwirtschaftsverband, supported by eseia, Cologne Technical University and the University of Twente. The course will be held at the :metabolon site, which is a modern waste disposal site in Leppe with research facilities for material conversion and location-related environmental technology and techniques.
